Snow Flakes
Snow Flakes, each one a momentary genius. No two alike, so fragile the very temperature or place of rest can alter there design. When they come slowly one by one we call this flurries. When they come briskly and heavy we call it a blizzard. Coupled with wind we call it a whiteout. Snow Flakes pile up in a wintry storm and we hurry to move them away into piles out of our way of travel. They effect our moods, they bring us fun. they relieve the sting of the cold as we enjoy them. the enhance the season of Christmas. They give us moments of joy as we build familiar images with their fluffy and packy masses. We have an excuse to press them tightly in to a ball and through them at each other in a play full exchange. They steal our bodies warmth as we frolic and play. A warm fire and hot cocoa become the healer of the freeze. They outline our trees and cover the ground. Changing everything around. these days are know as winter wonderland to some and to others a reason to escape to warmer climates. yet they are a part of the seasons of time. these little marks of wonder we call snow flakes amaze all who take the time to investigate. Have you ever let one land on your tongue? That sensation is so tiny and yet so amazing. no taste, just a slight sensation. Taste the challenge of the snow flake. yeah you might look ridiculous standing in wait for the flake. You might even be accused of being a little flaky yourself but! Who cares it just a little way to say your alive.
