felt the air becoming cool and found yourself convinced that winter was on its way?
Heard the laughter of a child as it infectiously consumes your emotions with a burst in to laughter and smiles?
Smell something that sent you into a retreat searching for something to rid the scent from the air you breath?
Lay on the beach tanning feeling your skin soaking in the sun and determined it was long enough?
We seem to have no issues with these things and we never rationalize them away. Nore do we over think with analytic intention before responding. Similar sensations bring instant reactions that are generally the same regardless of who you are. Could it be this is our design?
Yet a man or woman can lay beside the one person who loves them more than any other in a sea of emotional turmoil and never once reach out to say I love you more than this emotional moment suggests.
Instead they choose to drift of to sleep sleep in denial...
I have climbed mountains and scaled Vallie's as well. I never once passed up a chance to gaze out at the scenery. Pressing on past fatigue and thirst to get to the top. The decision to breath in and squeeze the moment for ever inch of exhilaration is the perfect example of spontaneity. Empowered to make my way to the bottom. Not once missing the opportunity to look around in amazement about the things I just passed on the way up, but they missed my awareness like I was momentarily blind. Amazed! That I could have missed it, yet willing to admit that I missed it. Without prideful justifications linked to to self preservation. You just surrender. Your reward is to squeeze the moment for all it has to give. Filling your lungs with fresh air until they can hold no more.
You are fulfilled. Empowered with instant sensations of accomplishment. You prepare for the decent from the top with out surrendering of your fulfillment.
Stopping at the bottom almost as though it where an involuntary action you gaze at the top where you had just been.
A simple climb to the top of a mountain can show you so many things about who you are.
Maybe, you will never physically climb a mountain. However you may climb emotional mountains and scale deep Vallie's in your own way.
It is still amazing, that in these moments the soul surrenders itself to the moment. No baggage. Burdens or worries seem to slowly take a place somewhere else if only just for this climb.
I reminded of my daughter climbing her first Mountain. Many times fatigue came over her. Excuse after excuse would force her to stop the climb just to regain her momentum. My sons off like a race horse to the top. When my daughter made it to the top she cried and cuddled up next to her Mom until she regained her composure. Fear and amazement captured her emotions. My son was like a mountain goat after a 2 litter bottle of maga caffeine jolt. Jumping off ever peak and into the little crevases riddled across the top of the mountain. It is so awe striking to see how this experience effects someone.
Have you ever asked yourself if YOU, can take this climb and look at it from a life lesson mentality , would you see why the mind can respond so purely to these moments and react with the fitting responses without over or under cutting the moment? Then why can't we seem to do this with our everyday with the one we love? Have you ever...
